Nicholas Scheppard is a West Hollywood based Actor and theatre-maker from Las Vegas, Nevada who migrated east to study musical theatre at The University of the Arts. A background in comedy and improv training through companies like The Second City and The Philadelphia Improv Theatre laid the groundwork for Nic's continued effort chasing whimsy and a spirit of spontaneity in his work.

Nic seeks work that inches him closer to the feeling he had pretending to be a magician, merman, corporate CEO, or housewife in the backyard of his childhood home. This spirit quickly wound itself around experimental and
movement theatre as he studied a wide span of movement pedagogies and world building techniques during his time at UArts and in workshops with Philadelphia based theatre companies like Applied Mechanics. Since receiving his BFA, Nic has performed in Philadelphia with Azuka Theatre Company, The Arden, Orbiter 3, and The Greenfield Collective. Boundlessly curious and easily excitable, Nic seeks performance opportunities and rehearsal spaces that unabashedly reject outdated social traditions and value listening as much as speaking. He hopes to build a more gentle, empathetic and equitable community for tomorrow through art that exemplifies these values. |
